Oh, for better words than Personal Growth! — for words that better describe Mystery School’s focus and intention. Self-realization, self-actualization, yes…but in the context of building relationships and sharing your life with others. Not personal growth just for yourself but personal growth so you can be more fully a part of a community, more acutely present in all of your relationships.

Personal Growth and Professional Development:

  • Life-changing insights, experiential learning, and community arts
  • Leadership training that enables you to be more effective and empowering in personal and professional relationships
  • The art of creating community through authentic exchange and healthy process

Optional Retreats and Intensives:
While many of our Mysteries have been happily participating for years without ever coming to the Grove, as a Mystery you can register for any of an extensive menu of events that:

  • Awaken your creative spirit
  • Encourage you to think about who you are and what your life can be
  • Introduce you to friends you have yet to meet
  • Give you time for yourself — hot tub, massage, walk the labyrinth — or time to be engaged with others

Housing:
All housing is shared. It has been called gracious rustic. All of the cabins are heated, tidy and comfortable. We have women’s space and men’s space.

Food:
Meals are made with love. Some of our Mysteries really come just for the food. Although our menu is omnivore, there are always vegetarian options.

Community service:
Each group takes one of the tasks required to sustain the community during the weekend. That might be watering the plants or putting candles on the porch when evening falls. If 40 people put in 15 minutes of work, 10 hours of work can be done in 15 minutes.
